About our programs

The Pearce Family Foundation is a public 501 c3 non-profit charity that exists to provide needed financial assistance, mobilize resources and engage the community to support families with a child facing a chronic or life-threatening illness. All proceeds raised benefit the Pearce Family Foundation's main initiative, Angels Around Us of AZ, to help ease the burdens of daily life so these courageous families can focus solely on their child's journey to get well.

Angels Around Us of Arizona, is the Pearce Family Foundation's main initiative, and helps families who have a child suffering from a chronic or life threatening illness. Angels Around Us has been created to make the community aware that, "The Diagnosis is Just the Beginning". The Pearce Family Foundation has a committee that will select families who meet the requirements of being a part of Angels Around Us. The funds will be raised through events within our community as well as donations. Angels Around Us hopes to relieve stress the family may be facing so our main focus is on their child’s journey to get well.

Financial Assistance May Include:

• Rent/Mortgage Payments

• Transportation Needs

• Auto Repair/Car Payments

• Anything that Creates a Stable and Healthy Living Environment

*Certain needs will vary; the Pearce Family Foundation reserves the right to decide what falls in those guidelines.

Angel Pups was created to financially support children in need of a service dog for medical reasons.

The idea for Angel Pups originated as the Pearce Family Foundation was receiving a large number of applications to assist with paying for service dogs for children. In 2015, Executive Council Charities gave the Pearce Family Foundation the opportunity to fund and create Angel Pups with a grant awarded to the Foundation specifically for the purpose of funding the Angel Pups program. Thank you for believing in our cause and allowing us to give back to children in our community!

PFF will grant a portion of the funds needed to families that have a child (ages 5-17) who will benefit from the assistance of a service dog for medical reasons. Angel Pup grants are limited to one per family.

To qualify for the "Angel Pups" grant program each family must:

1. Live in Arizona and work with a "local" organization who trains and provides service dog

2. Family must secure at least 75% of the funding goal at the time of the application

3. Families can apply only once a calendar year

Arizona Charitable Tax Credit

The Pearce Family Foundation is a certified state charity for the Arizona tax credit for charitable organizations.

All tax credit dollars will benefit our newest program, Angel Pups. Angel Pups was created to financially support children who would benefit from then assistance of a service dog. On average, a service dog can cost up to $30,000!!

Help us help children stay out of the hospital with the love and support a service dog can provide - redirect your tax dollars to PFF Arizona. The deduction is $400 per individual and $800 for married filing joint taxes. Click here for more information on how to claim this credit on your tax return.
